Improving collaboration within teams is the most effective way to upgrade overall performance
TeamDrivers is a service designed to help any team improve their collaboration
Based on an individual assessment from team members, the TeamDrivers tool will provide insight that helps the team identify and discuss how to improve collaboration by directing focus to concrete and actionable behaviours, based on the approach of Lencioni´s "dysfunctions of a team".
TeamDrivers does not only report data. We use intelligent algorithms to interpret the data and provide specifc recommendations for the leaders and teams to consider.
The TeamDrivers process is optimized to empower the teams own leader to take ownership of the process. This has the added benefit of minimizing total roll out cost per team.
The TeamDrivers assessment has been completed for thousands of individuals in hundreds of teams allowing for credible benchmark data. Also, some of our customers uses TeamDrivers as an alternative to the classical employee engagement survey.

The TeamDrivers pyramid
The assessment is structured around 6 fundamental drivers that characterizes a well-functioning team.
The 6 layers in the TeamDrivers hierarchy are visualized as a pyramid. The visualization underlines the point that lower level drivers are more foundational than the higher – and the top levels are rarely achieved unless the foundational drivers are strong.
Starting with Trust (at the bottom) the drivers are:
Trust (“Are we transparent and honest with one another?”)
Healthy conflict (“Do we engage in constructive conflict when needed?”)
Commitment (“Do we make clear decisions and execute according to plans?”)
Accountability (“Do we challenge and provide feedback to one another?”
Shared results (“Do we focus on achieving collective results?”)
Adaptiveness (“Are we passionate about experimenting and testing new ideas?”)
Adaptive feedback and learning flow
A TeamDriver assessment is an adaptive online flow designed to help teams improve what matters the most.
The team leader will be in charge of facilitating the process, supported by an easy-to-use learning flow that empowers the team - to engage in the discussions and secure an open-minded and safe atmosphere, where everyone can speak their mind.
All team members will also get access to the team feedback, as well as videos and other resources for inspiration.
Based on the input, the flow will help direct attention to the most important areas for improvement and discussions.
Leadership in the context of the team
Research conducted by CultureDrivers, in collaboration with a leading European business school, have substantiated a strong link between team health, performance, and the effectiveness of leadership.
The leader’s focus in his or her development must have a strong bearing on the needs of the team in order to be meaningful and effective. Supporting leaders developing in the context of their teams offers a new path to evolve the practices of both leader and team development.
TeamDrivers provide relevant and specific support to leaders of teams based on their unique combination of characteristics, qualities and development needs.
A small investment with huge potential benefits
The TeamDrivers program typically runs for three months, beginning and concluding with assessments.
Remarkably, even within this brief timeframe, we frequently observe substantial improvements in collaboration.
42% of all teams face at least one serious challenge
Among the drivers of collaboration and adaptability - 3 out of 10 teams has one or more that falls critically low.
The good news is that once acknowledged, every challenge can be overcome with deliberate effort, freeing extra potential in the team.
Team effectiveness varies greatly - even within divisions or business units
Most often, this comes as a surprise to the leader responsible across the teams.
And often, it's even a surprise which teams are the high and the low performers.
Teams that are in trouble knows it - they just do not know how to deal with it!
Teams are often explaining their problems in anecdotal form: "John and Ahmed always gets into a fight", "We are simply too busy to collaborate, so we divide and conquer".
The good news is that teams often knows what to adjust - they just need a bit of help to open the discussion and start adjusting the bad habits.
